2023 Wagoneer

The trim levels for the Wagoneer and the Wagoneer L come in Series I, II, and III. Series I sports LED high and low-beam headlights, LED daytime running lights, and LED front fog lights, as well as a power liftgate and wheel-to-wheel side steps. Series II comes standard with 22-inch wheels, rain-sensitive windshield wipers, and a two-tone roof. Series III rides on standard 20-inch machined aluminum wheels, with 22-inch alloys available, and automatic high beams. The four-wheel-drive versions add standard Quadra-Trac II suspension and available Quadra-Drive II setup.

Both the Wagoneer and Wagoneer L run off one engine, a twin-turbocharged 3-liter inline six-cylinder. Named the Hurricane Twin Turbo, it produces 420 horsepower and 468 pound-feet of torque. The engine pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to both the rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. The four-wheel-drive system in Series II and III is the Quadra-Drive II.

The Wagoneer's handling and steering are great for such a large vehicle, and it has a relaxed and smooth ride on the highway. It's sure-footed with softly tuned suspension and a drive mode offers options of sand/mud, snow, and rock driving. A terrain control system enhances the SUV's off-road ability by raising the ride height. The Wagoneer also boasts a tow rating of 10,000 pounds.

The cargo area behind the third row provides 27 cubic feet. With the second-row seating folded down, 71 cubic feet of space becomes available. The Wagoneer L gives 44 cubic feet behind the third row and 89 cubic feet with the second row of seats folded down.

The infotainment system impresses with the many different screens on hand. The center stack displays a 12-inch center touchscreen located above the HVAC system control's 10.3-inch touchscreen. The Series II offers another 10.3-inch touchscreen for the front-seat passenger. Also standard is a Wi-Fi hotspot that is subscription-based and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. There are enough USB ports for all passengers, and they are found in all three rows. Passengers in the second row also have a 10.3-inch touchscreen located between the captain's chairs.

Jeep's 2023 Wagoneer includes a practical array of standard driver assistance features. These include automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-path monitoring, and rear parking sensors with automatic stop capability. A host of other advanced safety features are available across the different trims.
