2023 Ram 1500 TRX

The TRX is the dedicated off-road performance trim of the Ram 1500. The 2023 Ram 1500 is also available in eight other trims: Tradesman, Tradesman HFE, Lone Star, Big Horn, Laramie, Rebel, Longhorn, and Limited. You can only get the TRX as a crew cab with a short bed. Other trims are available as a quad cab with a long bed or a crew cab with a short or long bed option.

Exterior features include amber LED lights embedded in the functional scoop, flared fenders, underbody skid plates, and 35-inch all-terrain tires. You also get LED exterior lights, including headlights, taillights, brake lights, and fog lights. The outside mirrors are powered, black, and heated with integrated turn signals.

Ram has added some serious power to the TRX trim. It's the only trim to feature a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine for 702 horsepower and 650-pound-feet of torque. This engine is matched to a paddle-shiftable eight-speed automatic transmission and is the same engine found in Dodge's Hellcat models. The zero-to-60 mph time is around 4.1 seconds, making the TRX one of the fastest pickup trucks.

Ram has added many performance enhancements to the 2023 1500 TRX. Four-wheel drive is standard on the TRX trim while available on all other trim levels of the 1500. You also get an upgraded cooling system, performance exhaust system, specialized lifted suspension with Bilstein adaptive dampers, an electronic locking rear differential, and upgraded brakes for your off-road riding. The TRX can haul up to 8,100 pounds, with a payload capacity of 1,310.
