2023 Dodge Durango

The 2023 Durango comes in seven trim levels: SXT, GT, R/T, R/T HEMI Orange, Citadel, SRT 392, and SRT Hellcat. Most trims have variations: The SXT has a Plus version, while the GT, R/T, SRT 392, and SRT Hellcat trims are available in Plus and Premium versions.

Standard features include a curved upper grille, a rectangular lower grille, automatic headlights, fog lights, sculpted sides, and a sculpted hood. You'll also get 8.1 inches of ground clearance, tinted windows, a rear spoiler, a rear windshield wiper with a washer, daytime running lights, 18-inch wheels, and heated manually-folding side mirrors.

You can choose a hood scoop, automatic high beams, a power liftgate, roof rails, 20-inch wheels, and auto-dimming, power-folding, side mirrors with memory settings and turn signals. A roof rack that can hold up to 150 pounds and puddle lights are optional as well. Available colors include Destroyer Gray Clear-Coat, Diamond Black Clear-Coat, Frostbite Pearl-Coat, Vapor Gray, Octane Red Pearl-Coat, Night Moves, Triple Nickel, White Knuckle Clear-Coat, and Red Oxide.

The 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 gives 295 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. It can tow up to 6,200 pounds.

You can also select a 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 that provides 360 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. It can pull 7,400 pounds. The SRT 392 all-wheel-drive model has a 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 that generates 475 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. It can get to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds, and it can pull up to 8,700 pounds. The SRT Hellcat all-wheel-drive trim level comes with a supercharged, 6.2-liter HEMI V-8 that produces 710 horsepower and 645 pound-feet of torque.

The 2023 Dodge Durango is powerful, sleek, and fun to drive. It has an eight-speed automatic transmission, and you can choose normal, eco, or sport driving modes. You can add track, snow, and tow modes as well. With all the engine options, the motor shuts off when you pause in traffic to save gas, and it restarts when you press the accelerator. The air conditioner and other accessories stay on for optimal comfort. The 24.6-gallon fuel tank lets you stop for gas less often.

Interior features include three-zone climate control with vents for the rear seats, a 7-inch customizable driver instrument cluster, cargo tie-down loops, a cabin air filter, an overhead sunglasses storage space, and a 12-volt power outlet. You'll also get folding second- and third-row seats, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, SiriusXM satellite radio, up to 85.1 cubic feet of cargo space, and six speakers. The Durango can carry up to seven people. Options include a 10.1-inch touchscreen, heated and cooled eight-way power front seats with lumbar settings, voice recognition, paddle shifters for the steering wheel, and navigation.

The 2023 Durango has a rearview camera, electronic stability control, lane-keeping assistance, braking assistance, hill start assistance, traction control, rear parking assistance, and trailer sway control. Additional options include forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, a security system, and front and rear parking sensors.
