2022 Ram 3500

The Ram 3500 comes in five trims: the Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie, Limited Longhorn, and the premium Limited. You have three cab configurations to choose from depending on your driving and hauling needs. The regular cab has seating for up to three people and comes with two doors and an 8-foot bed.

Four-door models of the crew cab or mega cab come with two rows of seats that can fit up to six people. You can choose either a 6-foot, 4-inch bed or the longer 8-foot box. On select trims, the Ram 3500 can come with a dual-axle variation that's ideal for pulling a large trailer or fifth-wheel.

For more power, choose the 6.7-liter six-cylinder Cummins turbo-diesel engine that delivers 370 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque. Your third option is the same 6.7-liter diesel engine, but it becomes a high-output engine with an increase of horsepower to 420 and 1,075 pound-feet of torque. All engines pair with a standard eight-speed automatic transmission or two variations of the available six-speed automatic transmission.

All of the 2022 Ram 3500 trims come standard with rear-wheel drive, or you can opt for traction-grabbing four-wheel drive. The suspension system consists of heavy-duty front and rear shock absorbers, front and rear stabilizer bars, and a roll mitigation system. The available auto-level rear air suspension system has a bed-lowering mode that lowers the Ram 3500 for easy trailer hook up.

The 2022 Ram 3500 has the Best-in-Class towing capacity with a maximum hauling capacity of 37,090 pounds when the truck is properly equipped. With the right equipment, the Ram 3500 can have a payload capacity of up to 7,680 pounds.
