2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Jeep has designed a Grand Cherokee for every lifestyle. The 2021 model comes in 10 trims: the Laredo E, all-new Laredo X, Limited, 80th Anniversary, Trailhawk, Overland, High Altitude, Summit, SRT, and Trackhawk. The base Laredo E boasts Jeep's iconic grille and boxy design as well as quality features such as LED daytime running lights and 18-inch wheels with all-season tires. Move up the trims to gain a panoramic sunroof, a power liftgate, HID headlights with automatic high beams, and 20-inch wheels. Each trim has its own badging, and the 80th Anniversary even features special 18-inch wheels.

The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee is available with three engine options. The standard powertrain is a zippy V-6 that generates 295 horsepower and pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It comes with rear-wheel drive, though four-wheel drive is an option.

You can also choose between one of three V-8 engines. A 5.7-liter V-8 available on the Trailhawk, Overland, High Altitude, and Summit trims produces 360 horsepower and is more than capable of pulling a small trailer. The SRT gains a 6.4-liter V-8 engine that boasts an incredible 475 horsepower, while the Trackhawk features a supercharged V-8 that explodes off the line with 707 horsepower and a zero to 60 mph time of just 3.5 seconds.

The 2021 Grand Cherokee has firm and responsive handling, stable cornering, and confident braking. Where it really impresses, however, is off-road. Trail-ready trims such as the Trailhawk come with all-terrain tires, a Quadra-Lift air suspension, skid plates, a limited-slip rear differential, and a two-speed transfer case to make crawling over rocks and obstacles a breeze. It also has 10.8 inches of ground clearance and a grippy traction control system.

When equipped with a V-8 engine and one of Jeep's tow packages, the Grand Cherokee can tow up to 7,200 pounds.

The Grand Cherokee is a four-door, two-row SUV with cushioned and supportive seating for five. Front and rear passengers alike will enjoy excellent headroom, legroom, and visibility. The modern and stylish cabin comes standard with soft-touch surfaces and cloth upholstery. You can upgrade, however, to luxurious features such as synthetic or genuine leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, and heated and ventilated seats.

On the dash, an easy-to-use 7-inch touch screen equipped with Jeep's Uconnect infotainment system comes standard. It features smartphone connectivity, Bluetooth, satellite radio, two USB ports, and a six-speaker sound system. You can upgrade to an 8-inch display plus navigation, HD Radio, a Wi-Fi hot spot, a rear entertainment system, and a 19-speaker premium Harman Kardon system.

The four-wheel-drive 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee received the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's highest overall safety rating thanks to a long list of standard and available safety features. These include rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane-keep assist, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking.
