2020 Ram 2500

There are six different 2020 Ram 2500 trims on the market: Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie, Power Wagon, Laramie Longhorn, and Limited. Your new truck is available in several sizes to fit your life perfectly. If you choose the traditional cab body style, you'll get an 8-foot long box. If you decide on the Crew Cab option, you'll have a choice between a 6-foot-4-inch box and an 8-foot box.

The Big Horn, Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, and Limited trims give you the option of either the Crew Cab or a Mega Cab with a 6-foot-4-inch box. The Power Wagon is only available as a Crew Cab with the smaller box. Keep your cargo organized in the bed of your truck with the available RamBox Cargo Management System. It gives you two secure boxes that you can lock and drain if needed to hold your stuff. There's also a 115-volt outlet so that you can charge your power tools on the job site.

As you open the hood of your new Ram 2500, you'll find one of two engines. The standard power plant is a 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 block. It uses variable cam timing to produce 410 horsepower and 429 pounds-feet of torque. For diesel fans, there's a 6.7-liter Cummins turbo I-6 block that generates 370 horsepower and a hefty 850 pounds-feet of torque.

When it comes to performance, your new Ram pulls its weight with ease. The Hemi engine handles a maximum payload of 4,010 pounds and can tow up to 17,540 pounds with the proper equipment. The diesel option gives you a payload of 3,160 pounds and can handle a trailer load of up to 19,680 pounds.

When you want to hook up your trailer, lower the bed to make the connection easier. Tap the button on your infotainment center, and the available rear air shocks lower the truck for an easy connection. Add the available WARN Zeon 12-inch winch to your truck so you can easily help stranded drivers. The winch handles up to 12,000 pounds.

The next time you go on break, settle into the cab of your truck and relax. The active noise cancellation keeps the outside noise to a minimum so you can catch your breath in silence. Connect either your Apple CarPlay or Android Auto device to the truck for easy access to your favorite apps during your break. Use your 15-inch laptop or store it in the center console with ease. If you want to give your passengers room to relax, the Mega Cab body style offers a reclining back seat.

Stay safe in your new pickup truck with the available adaptive forward lighting system. Using this system, your headlights can turn 15 degrees to help with nighttime visibility on winding roads. The available adaptive cruise control system lets you set the speed and then adjusts it as needed in heavy traffic. It can even stop a truck with a trailer attached if required.
