2020 Dodge Challenger

The entry-level Challenger SXT has 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, LED taillights, and heated power exterior mirrors, while the SXT AWD adds 19-inch wheels. Step up to the GT for performance suspension, a performance hood, and a hood scoop along with 20-inch wheels, or to the GT AWD for 19-inch wheels. The R/T adds a performance exhaust and the option for a cold-air intake and black exterior styling elements. Bump up to the R/T Scat Pack for black brake calipers, an aluminum hood, and 20-inch black alloy wheels or to the SRT Hellcat for Brembo brakes with red brake calipers. The SRT Hellcat Redeye is the top-level Challenger and has the same features as the Hellcat.

Dodge offers a widebody version of the R/T Scat Pack, the Hellcat, and the Hellcat Redeye.

The base powertrain for the Challenger is a 3.6-liter V-6 engine with 305 horsepower and 8-speed automatic transmission. The R/T gets a 5.7-liter V-8 that makes 375 horsepower, and the R/T Scat Pack has a 6.4-liter V-8 engine that generates 485 horsepower. For even more power, the SRT Hellcat gets a 6.2-liter V-8 that delivers 717 horsepower, while the SRT Hellcat Redeye has a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 with 797 horsepower.

You can't beat the Challenger when it comes to straight-line speed, and it delivers a smooth ride over any road. No matter what engine you have under the hood, this muscle car has more than enough power to get up to 60 mph in no time. The Challenger is one of the few muscle cars that offers all-wheel drive. Adding the AWD system improves handling, and makes this performance car capable of handling snowy and slippery roads.

Inside, the Challenger has room for five with spacious seats for everyone. Standard features in the cabin include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a 6-way power-adjustable driver's seat. The Hellcat has a flat-bottomed steering wheel. Cloth upholstery comes in the lower-end trims with premium Nappa leather available in the higher trims. A heated steering wheel is also available.

Standard technology for the 2020 Challenger starts with a 7-inch touch screen, the Uconnect 4 infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Bluetooth. Stepping up to the R/T Scat Pack gets the Uconnect 4C system with satellite radio, an 8.4-inch touch screen, and two extra USB ports. An upgraded Harman Kardon stereo system is an available upgrade for most trim levels.

All of the Challengers come with a rearview camera, stability control, and six airbags. Depending on the trim, a blind-spot monitoring system is an available option along with forward collision warning and rear cross-traffic alert.
